Silverchair PeopleOps Summer Intern

Are you passionate about people and eager to learn about the world of Human Resources? Are you curious about what it is like to work in a thriving technology organization? If so, this may be the perfect summer opportunity for you!

Silverchair's PeopleOps team is seeking a part-time (up to 20 hours/week) summer Intern to assist the team that shapes the experience of people in our organization. We're seeking a dynamic college student or recent high school graduate who is ready to roll up their sleeves and make a meaningful impact in our people-centered workplace. This is an unpaid opportunity.

Responsibilities
  • Engagement: Dive into the heart of our company's culture by assisting with team gatherings and events that foster collaboration and camaraderie.
  • Support: Shadow and assist in the onboarding process, ensuring new team members feel welcomed and equipped for success from day one.
  • Management: Streamline our knowledge base by assisting in archiving pages in our knowledge management system and upgrading others.
  • Engagement Initiatives: Play a key role in setting up TinyPulse groups to gather valuable feedback and insights, promoting team engagement and satisfaction. As well as assisting with team lunches.
  • and Development Assistance: Dive into our professional development initiatives by supporting our Growth Camp summer learning program.
  • and Documentation Updates: Assist in keeping our policies and documentation up to date, ensuring clarity and compliance across the organization.
  • with Presentations: Support our quarterly planning processes by assisting in the creation and refinement of presentations.
  • Support: Help smooth the transition to our new human resource information system by updating documentation and instruction pages.
  • Tracking: Contribute to our commitment to diversity and inclusion by tracking interview and hiring demographics in our PeopleOps Dashboard.
  • Projects: Unleash your creativity by assisting in various projects that add flair and innovation to our PeopleOps initiatives.

Requirements:
  • school graduate or currently pursuing a college degree
  • interest in Human Resources and people-related initiatives
