About This Role:

ContainerPort Group (CPG®), a World Group company, is currently looking for an energetic and self-motivated team player to join our family as a Fleet Coordinator for our growing terminal in Louisville, Kentucky!

The Fleet Coordinator is a member of the operational team, closely aligned with the fleet management role, and is responsible for matching capacity with customer scheduling and service requirements. This is achieved by building and nurturing relationships at the warehouses/vendors we serve and support. The Fleet Coordinator is the liaison linking our terminal operations team to our Customer Experience Account Management team. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develops relationships and knowledge of serviced warehouses and associated requirements
  • Schedules appointments with shipping/receiving warehouses/vendors to maximize utilization of available daily capacity
  • Liaison between CX Account Managers and terminal operations teams
  • Liaison between terminal operations and Central Drayage team for additional capacity, as required
  • Adds Customer accessorial charges, document placeholders, and communicates with CX Account Managers for updates and approvals
  • Manages and updates vessel schedules for imports/exports
  • Validates booking information including equipment size, type, and pickup or return location
  • Manages and updates chassis provider(s) per customer and operational requirements
  • Coordinates with fleet managers to ensure accurate and timely updates of orders and communicates necessary updates with CX Account Managers
  • Conducts daily terminal audits inclusive of prior day closeout including AP and AR audits
  • Participates in terminal and driver safety initiatives and implementation of processes and programs
  • Acts as operational backup when associated fleet managers are out of office
  • Other duties as directed to support Company growth and strategies

Education and Professional Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred
  • Highly organized individual with great communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with heavy email/phone/messaging volume
  • Computer skills required: Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with Transportation Management Systems
