We are seeking an experienced Training Analyst for our First Quality facility located in Lewistown, PA.

This position is responsible for identifying training needs, designing, and delivering training programs, and evaluating their effectiveness. Create teaching plans, develop instructional materials, and strategize on efficient teaching methodologies to improve team member learning experiences. The Training Analyst will support a hands-on, technical manufacturing environment and will ensure team member development aligns with company goals. They will work in close collaboration with the leadership team throughout the program development or re-evaluation process.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
  • Observes all safety rules and always uses the proper safety equipment
  • Follows necessary GMP, FDA, and ISO regulations/guidelines
  • Performs needs assessments to ensure conformity with plant training objectives and develops training plans to improve plant productivity and performance
  • Participates in the new hire onboarding process while facilitating hands-on and computer-based training and supporting the growth and skills enhancement of the existing workforce
  • Plans, schedules, and conducts internal and external training programs that support plant objectives and internal career development
  • Conduct performance-based measurement assessments for objective evaluation of training programs.
  • Assists with crew and campus wide communications and meetings
  • Responsible for implementation, training, maintenance, and management of the learning management system (LMS).
  • Maintains team member and program training files
  • Prepares training status reports, communications and procedures as required
  • Authors and organizes procedural manuals and supporting documentation for training programs and systems in accordance with GMP, FDA and ISO regulations
  • Collaborates with various departments to develop standard operating procedures for documentation and coordinates related instructional document preparation
  • Assists with application and reimbursement of training grants
  • Assists with capturing and providing necessary information for internal audits
  • Remains current on developments in training and instructional methodologies, including technology enhancements, and attends periodic seminars, forums and meetings and applying knowledge learned as it best fits our learning environment
  • Works with Learning & Development Manager on projects and special assignments
  • Performs other duties as necessary when directed to do so

Education and experience requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or its equivalent preferred
  • At least two years of knowledge and experience in commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures used in training
  • Experience in designing and implementing employee development programs within a manufacturing organization preferred.
  • Ability to implement and utilize LMS and Computer Based Learning systems
  • Experience with manufacturing technology and best practices preferred.
  • Technical writing ability preferred.
  • Knowledge of grants: research, application, monitoring of available grant resources
  • Flexibility to schedule and deliver training across all shifts, as needed
  • Ability to interact effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
