Here are the key responsibilities and requirements:
Design and maintain training materials and resources for the Patient Access and Support Services Team.
Conduct new hire departmental training sessions and provide ongoing support and coaching.
Develop competency assessments and conduct training evaluations.
Monitor quality of work, identify areas for improvement, and develop training plans.
Collaborate with department leaders on performance improvement initiatives.
Stay updated on system changes and updates to ensure efficient workflows.
Educational/Experience Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of related Patient Access experience in a healthcare setting.
Prior experience in Registration/Scheduling/Pre-Certification is required.
Demonstrated experience in developing and conducting employee training programs.
Knowledge of Quality Improvement methods and process redesign techniques.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
CHAA certification preferred, required within 6 months of hire.
Epic Credentialed or obtained within 12 weeks of hire.
High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in a Healthcare related field or Business Administration preferred.
Equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field in lieu of degree.
