The Accounting Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of the non-profit organization. They oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the organization's mission through effective financial management.
Responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, collections, and vendor management.
Manage daily cash management and develop monthly case flow planning
Oversee Payroll process
Work closely with the CFO and prepare financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements, for management review.
Manage and mentor Payroll Associate and Accounting Associate
Oversee annual audit and state/federal audits.
Must haves
5+ years in an Accounting role, at least 1 year in managment
BA in Accounting
Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software
Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and develop a team, foster a positive work culture, and drive results.
