LandYield is seeking a full-time employee to work out of our Chattanooga office. Qualified applicants will have experience in administrative tasks, record keeping and contractual work. This position will work directly with and for the Director. Applicants should have the following qualifications and experience but be willing to assist with whatever is needed. LandYield is a young company and successful applicants will need to be flexible and willing to engage in a startup environment.

Key Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Proficient in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel (work sample required)
Paralegal experience or qualifications preferred but not required
Experience with carbon markets preferred but not required
Certified TN notary or willing to obtain
Key Responsibilities:
Receive and organizing incoming documents and contracts via mail and email
Create and manage information/document management system
Track contractual process to ensure all documents are signed and filed in a timely manner
Manage budget inputs and track expenses
Assist Director with annual budgeting
Conduct research to help answer client questions related to LandYield contracts and ACR methodology
Handle client and partner requests for documents and/or program information
Notarize contracts
File deeds and/or manage process for filing deeds with relevant county clerks
Assist in the preparation of timber deeds based on information provided from partners
Manage Chattanooga office, including paying rent, receiving and sending mail, stocking office supplies as needed, taking care of plants, etc.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Attend conferences and events and assist with setting up booths and disseminating program information
Assist Director with scheduling, travel, event planning, booking space for client meetings
