Responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Specialist job in Carlsbad include:
Process vendor invoices daily.
Proactive and able to resolve daily issues efficiently.
Research and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Ensure timely processing of all open purchase authorizations.
Prepare and execute weekly check runs.
Collaborate with the purchasing department to resolve and invoice discrepancies.
Communicate with management and escalate any issues.
Provide management with reports, data, and analysis as requested for month-end closing.
Minimum requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience with accounts payables
Ability to demonstrate advanced analytical skills.
Familiarity with Excel and exposure to Microsoft Dynamics or other large ERP is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with management.
