The Sr. Director, Clinical Procurement will have the following responsibilities:
Responsible for implementing and leading category management, Strategic Sourcing, & contract negotiations.
Lead & manage supplier management for all outsourced services.
Work and facilitate a cross functional environment with the functional areas to implement an end-to-end sourcing process.
Evaluate supplier performance and manage the supplier relationship
Lead procurement initiatives RFPs, Supplier Selection, Contract Negotiations, and oversight of new & existing vendors.
Collaborate with the Clinical and Quality organizations on developing updated procedures on selection, onboarding, and maintenance of outsourced partners.
The Sr. Director, Clinical Procurement will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Life Sciences / Biotech
12+ years experience in clinical outsourcing or pharmaceutical procurement / supplier management.
Must have experience working with a PSP system, Coupa experience a plus.
Strong understanding of the drug development cycle
Strong Analytical Skills
Proven experience in procurement / outsourcing leadership roles, with a strong track record of driving procurement strategies and achieving cost savings.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
