Principal Clinical Data Scientist with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in Ridgefield, CT. Lead & oversee designing, transforming, analyzing & reporting of complex phase I-IV clinical trials or projects. *Telecommuting permitted: Work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc. office in Ridgefield, CT 80% of the time. Position requires PhD degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field & 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Master's degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Math, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field & 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have 3 years of experience with: utilizing knowledge of statistical methodology; advanced statistic concepts related to data science; SAS, R, or C++; leading & facilitating meetings; &, developing & delivering training related to data science topics. Must have 2 years of experience with utilizing basic medical terminology. Must have 1 year of experience with processing clinical trial information. Must have experience with: designing clinical trials or clinical experiments; analyzing neuroimaging data (e.g., MRI); &, performing advanced stat computing including simulation, parallel computing, & stat software development.
