Local company in Salisbury, MD is seeking a full-time Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our team! You will compile data, compute charges, and prepare invoices in a relaxed office environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organized and detail-oriented individual to join a growing organization and contribute to its financial operations.
Responsibilities:
Calculate costs of goods and services accurately and efficiently
Track and record deliveries to customers, ensuring proper billing and documentation
Distribute invoices for sales review in a timely manner
Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards and best practices
Perform all other office tasks as assigned, including data entry, filing, and general administrative duties
Qualifications:
Previous experience in billing, finance, accounting, or other related fields
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, etc.) - REQUIRED
Solid knowledge of standard accounting procedures and principles
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
This is a full-time position with standard business hours, Monday - Friday (8 am to 4 pm).
