About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a FiNet Cybersecurity Business lead who will manage the Wells Fargo Advisor Financial Network (FiNet) cybersecurity governance program to help business owners improve their cybersecurity posture and implement appropriate measures to protect their systems and data from cyber threats. The business lead will partner with Wells Fargo Information Security to develop cybersecurity standards, assist business owners with implementation of those standards, and oversee the cybersecurity assessment process to evaluate risks.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of programs, services and initiatives
  • Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of support function and business performance
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues, and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group's functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
  • Collaborate and consult with members of the Business Execution team and team leaders to drive strategic initiatives
  • Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to convey cybersecurity solutions to a broad range of stakeholders
  • Must be detail oriented, well organized, be able to handle multiple projects, and prioritize different tasks
  • Experience in technology consulting companies or experience in US banking sector is preferred
  • Awareness of industry standards and their applicability to financial organizations
  • Awareness about regulatory requirements for financial institutions and relate them to day-to-day operations
  • Keeps up to date with the Security and Privacy Industry - following the industry's advancements, challenges, and discovery
Job Expectations:
  • Primary point of contact for FiNet business owner questions pertaining to the newly developed Information Security standards and governance program
  • Assist FiNet business owners with technology solutions that meet network, access management, and end point security requirements defined in the newly developed standards
  • Partner with Information Security to oversee cybersecurity assessments of each FiNet practice
  • Provide consulting services to managed service providers (MSP's) who will help implement cybersecurity controls within each FiNet practice
  • Develop and present FiNet practice cyber security assessment statistics to leadership
