The People & Culture Intern will work on two key MHK projects: benefit renewal preparation and employee engagement survey rollout. For the benefit renewal project, the intern will assist with collecting employee feedback on current plans, summarizing plan options for 2025, and developing a communication plan. For the engagement survey project, the intern will assist with validating employee data and building a campaign to drive participation.
2024 Program Highlights:
1 session per week in the Program, and inclusion in any business specific events/ sessions.
Internship networking events in NYC for local interns
Training on Microsoft Outlook, MS Teams, and Slack during the first week of the Internship.
In-person Program Graduation to be held in NYC
Potential for in-person Orientation for local interns
Requirements:
Enrollment in a relevant degree program, such as Human Resources Management, Business, Psychology, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively collaborate with team members, handle sensitive employee issues, and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Organization skills and detail-oriented
Proficiency in basic computer software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) preferred.
Maintain confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards and discretion if handling any potential employee information.
Ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Ability to work effectively with People & Culture professionals and other departments within the organization.
