Solventum is seeking Machinist candidates to join our team in Columbia, MO!


  • Starting Pay: $27.42 + Shift Differentials

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Machinist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Set-up and operate machining lathes to produce Stethoscope chest pieces.

  • Perform adjustments, tool changes, and preventive maintenance to assure proper operation.

  • Perform all required sampling, testing, and inspection to meet product requirements.

  • Gather and monitor data on the process to ensure process control.

  • Train and/or assist dept operators with running the lathes and inspecting chest pieces.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Possess a technical degree or higher in Tool & Die Technology

OR
  • Possess a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of five (5) years of experience working with Tool & Die.

AND

In addition to the above requirements, the following are also required:


  • Experience operating CNC machines.

  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays as needed

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm) or 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am)

Work location: Onsite - 5400 Paris Rd, Columbia, MO 65202

Travel: No Travel
