This position is fully remote


 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Participate in the identification of system requirements, design elements, development or integration efforts, and implementation of the system or system of systems

  • Analyze, recommend and design end-to-end enterprise systems composed of IT architecture, Leidos QTC developed software components, or commercial off the shelf capabilities

  • Create and deliver technical proposals and presentations for engineer reviews (e.g., requirements, design, test, operational readiness)

  • Coordinate projects with vendors to expand our business-critical systems

  • Assists in the initial design and development of new systems/solutions including consideration for database, security, scalability and other usability criteria

  • Assists in defining product requirements and creates high-level architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms

  • Translates business needs into long-term implementable and sustainable systems

  • Writes, maintains, evaluates, and effectively communicates engineering design documents and interface control documents (ICDs)

  • Directs design choices to software engineers, including but not limited to: platforms, coding and technical levels

  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management

  • Communicates with executive leadership (internally or client) regarding matters of significant importance to the organization/project

Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 5-9 years of relevant professional experience. Additional years of experience may also be considered in lieu of a degree

  • Must have a fundamental understanding of operating systems, including Microsoft Windows 2012 and beyond

  • Experience with installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructures

  • Previous experience monitoring system hardware and operating systems

  • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation


Desired:



  • A current MCSE or comparable technical certification


Pay and Benefits:


$90,000-$110,000 w/ 8% bonus eligibility
