Position Summary
The Assistant Retail Store Manager is responsible for assisting the Retail Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the dispensary. This includes managing the sales floor, managing inventory, and providing customer service. The Assistant Retail Store Manager also plays a key role in training and developing new employees.
Responsibilities & Duties
Manage the sales floor and ensure that customers receive a high level of service. Manage inventory and ensure that product levels are always sufficient to meet demand. Train and develop new employees. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees. Resolve customer complaints. Complete administrative tasks as needed. Comply with all state and local regulations related to cannabis retail. Behave in a manner that is positive, productive, cooperative, and encourages teamwork. Follows safety guidelines and regulations, champions safety culture. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience
Must be at least 21 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Previous retail, hospitality, and/or customer service experience required. At least 3 years of leadership experience required, preferably in a high-volume retail environment. Basic computer skills required; POS software and cash management experience required Fluency with Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel; knowledge of pivot tables and basic formulas required Basic math skills including adding and subtraction required Outgoing, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude required Must have a reliable personal vehicle

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs occasionally. Ability to stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist. Visual acuity is needed for viewing computer screens and fine print. Manual dexterity needed for performing transactions.
