Patient Driver - PT at Pacific Cataract & Laser Institute in Tualatin, Oregon

Job Description:

OBJECTIVE

Provide safe patient transportation to and from the facility when needed.  Perform additional tasks as requested by Site Manager, such as light maintenance and running errands between transports.

REPORTS TO

     Site Manager

STATUS

     Part-time (less than 24 hours a week)

SCHEDULE

Our normal office hours are Monday through Thursday 8 am to 5 pm, Friday 8 am to 1 pm

Drivers hours are intermittent and based on patient transportation schedules

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Clean, neat, professional appearance


• Pleasant, cooperative, caring attitude

• Good communication skills-written and verbal


• Good organizer & good problem solver


• Monitor, arrange for and track general vehicle maintenance


• Ability to read and follow written instructions an interpret road maps


• Ability to handle all kinds of road conditions

PHYSICAL ABILITIES

• Sit for extended periods of time


• Lift up to 50 pounds


• Acute hearing and vision

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Current driver’s license and good driving record


• Ability to promptly communicate work schedules via phone, text or email


• Current CPR certification (Fee and training provided by PCLI)
