Our company continues to grow so were looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering Team as a Designer/Drafterat our Sumter, SC office.

This position is responsible for producing high quality models and drawings for access and fall protection products. Works closely with Engineers and Engineering leadership to drive innovation and solve customer problems.

Responsibilities:

Utilizes SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce high quality models and drawings. Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports. Manages design projects that may require cross-functional involvement to meet deadlines and company objectives. Produces preliminary drawings to show potential customers a word picture of access/fall protection equipment offered as a solution to their specific needs. Creates approval drawings to illustrate how equipment interfaces with existing site conditions. Provides accurate details and notes to inform the detailing team and manufacturing of necessary project requirements. Develops best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve performance of Engineering Team and company results. Audits drawing projects and other duties as business needs require.

Requirements

AS degree in Engineering or related field Experience in structural design preferred. Experience in structural steel industry a plus SolidWorks, AutoCAD experience preferred. Certifications a plus. Problem-solving aptitude and highly organized Analytical thinker with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to function well in a Team setting.

Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8 hours per day
