Our company continues to grow so were looking for a talented individual to join our Engineering Team as a Senior Mechanical Engineer in New Product Development at our Andrews, SC facility.

This position is responsible for leading the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including NPD, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality, to ensure successful product development and launch. Conduct feasibility studies and design trade-off analyses to ensure the optimal design solution. Develop detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures to support product development. Conduct testing and analysis to verify design performance and ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Provide technical support to production and customer service teams, troubleshooting production and customer issues. Stay current with advancements in mechanical engineering technologies and materials to continuously improve products and processes. Perform other tasks as business needs dictate.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field, PE or Masters a plus 8+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role, with a focus on product design and development. Strong experience in the design and development of mechanical systems, products, and equipment. Expert in using SolidWorks. Certifications desired. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and creatively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills No sponsorship available.

Schedule: Monday-Friday typically 8 hours per day
