Description: Our client is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse


Seeking a compassionate and motivated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at our Owensboro, KY location. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in a fast-paced, addiction treatment environment. We offer a positive and supportive work environment where you can make a real difference in the lives of individuals struggling with addiction.


This job will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide basic nursing care to patients struggling with addiction, including: Vital sign monitoring Medication administration Wound care Assisting with activities of daily living Monitoring for signs and symptoms of withdrawal Administration of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) (preferred, but not required) Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record. Participate in intake assessments and develop individualized plans of care. Collaborate effectively with physicians, registered nurses, therapists, counselors, and other healthcare professionals. Educate patients on addiction and recovery principles. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Respond to patient emergencies and implement appropriate interventions. May perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Current Kentucky Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential (Indiana LPN with compact endorsement considered).


• Experience with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Strong work ethic, compassion, and commitment to providing patient-centered care.


• Proficient in documentation and EHR systems. Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in challenging situations.
