Location: Pittston, PA

Salary: $80,000.00 USD Annually - $90,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead and support the maintenance function and provide partnership and support to Operations.



This job will have the following responsibilities:

• 
  


• Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance staff.


• Interface with production team to maintain peak equipment performance.


• Manage the preventative maintenance program and improve PM compliance percentage and effectiveness.


• Schedule maintenance work to ensure the equipment is operating safely, efficiently, reliably and in keeping with production schedules.


• Ensure maintenance staff are adequately trained and performing at best ability.


• Perform daily pre-shift meetings with maintenance team.


• Coach and teach employees in a positive manner.


• Partners with Operations with a dedicated focus on critical equipment.


• Provides first response to problem solving with the maintenance team and engages employees to resolve problems utilize practical problem solving techniques.


• Responsible for ensuring planned maintenance tasks assigned to their team are completed efficiently with a high degree of accuracy and on time.


• Ensures maintenance team is consistently following GMPs while on the production floor.


• Schedules repairs, maintenance and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.


• Manages the maintenance inventory and budget and supervises the Inventory Maintenance Controller.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• 
  


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical degree


• 3-5 years maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.


• Experience in food manufacturing/packing is preferred.


• Strong technical knowledge and ability across multiple areas in industrial manufacturing equipment.


• Proven successful record in managing, motivating and building teams.


• Ability to drive cultural change and lead by example.


• Experience in process improvement is desired.


• Excellent written and oral communication skills.


• Must be able to manage multiple projects.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office products to include: Word, Excel, Power Point, Email.


• Good interpersonal and time management skills.


• Must be able to read and speak English.
