Job Description
Primary Function of Position

This position designs and implements SAP solutions. The person reports to an IT manager. They work with an IT business analyst team to review requirements and design solutions that align with industry standards. They ensure seamless integration between SAP and other systems.

Essential Job Duties

• Collaborate with a cross-functional IT business analyst team to design, build, test, and implement various SAP objects.


• Manage the technical aspects of SAP projects from initiation to completion, ensuring project goals, timelines, and quality standards are met.


• Interact with business partners and stakeholders to understand their needs, provide high-level design, and recommend changes in business processes.


• Responsible for SAP ABAP development, including various development technologies and programming tools.


• Responsible for SAP UI5 development, including HTML5, Fiori, SAP Gateway, OData Services, and related technologies.


• Write technical documents to support functional specifications and other efforts.


• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and other systems, such as third-party applications and databases.


• Collaborate with offshore team members, assign development tasks, and recommend technical solutions.


• Provide code reviews for onsite and offshore team members and offer guidance for improvement.


• Provide estimates and dependencies for development tasks and produce scalable, high-quality code.


• Involve in performance tuning and maintenance activities to meet performance guidelines and standards.


• Participate in day-to-day production support, troubleshooting, and applying break fixes to resolve critical bugs.


• Plan and execute SAP system upgrades and patches to keep the system up to date.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience

• 8 years experience in SAP ABAP Programming. Proficient in OOPS ABAP, ALV, Module Pool, and more. Worked with interfaces, RFCs, BAPI, and other ABAP tools.


• 3 years experience in web and mobile app development using various technologies like Fiori and SAP UI5.

Required Education and Training

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science or related field plus 5 years of progressive related experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Familiarity with CDS Views, ABAP Restful application programming module (RAP), Cloud application programming (CAP), Calculation Views, and AMDP.


• Experience with SAP Fiori Launchpad configurations, setting up Roles, Catalog, and groups
