Within the SB, the Zeigo team is focused on delivering SaaS solutions to meet the evolving needs of companies looking to advance their progress toward a more sustainable future. The portfolio of SaaS offers that exists within this business includes: Zeigo Network, a peer-to-peer, digital network of leading global corporations - now over 500 strong - intended to accelerate the awareness, evaluation and implementation of climate change solutions including renewable energy, efficiency and broader solutions; Zeigo Power, a tendering tool to automate and simplify the tendering process for renewable energy Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs); and Zeigo Activate, a new application designed to empower SMEs to begin on their own sustainability journey.

Zeigo is actively seeking a n experienced Business Development Manager focused on sales efforts in the Americas region. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and ne gotiating / closing deals to achieve revenue targets. Leveraging your expertise in sales and your understanding of the sustainability and renewables domain in the Americas, you'll position Zeigo as a key player in advancing sustainability initiatives and driving positive environmental impact in the region. Through your proactive approach, you'll help Zeigo expand its market presence and maximiz e revenue potential.

Key responsibilities include:


  • Leads Commercial & Industrial (C&I) or end-user, Solution Provider and Affiliate sales efforts directly related to Zeigo (i.e., subscriptions and Developer Advisory )

  • Collaborates heavily with Zeigo Operational teams on regional service and platform vision, market positioning, and prioritization of future enhancements

  • Leads development of sales & marketing collateral (presentations, proposals, cut sheets) in collaboration with marketing team

  • Coordinates and liaises with other internal sales teams to drive lead generation and qualification of interest in the Ze igo Network and related advisory services, including integration with other offers

  • Represents Zeigo with high integrity and credibility, at key networking and industry events

  • Builds and support relationships with non-governmental organizations (NGOs), regulatory entities, vendors and product/service companies

  • Manages budget for all geographic Sales & Marketing activities w/ monthly reporting

  • Accountable for overall revenue targets associated with commercial plan

  • Some domestic and international travel necessary (up to 25%)


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Energy, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field with 5- 7 years of related professional experience and an interest in pursuing a career in emerging energy services

  • Experience and passion for sales with hunter mentality

  • Experience and passion for working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment

  • Consulting or advisory experience preferably with utility-scale developers, plus associated sales planning experience

  • Commitment to learning and adapting to emerging energy landscapes
