RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Duties:
Develop client relationships to earn status as a trusted advisor
Seeks out innovation and best practice across Newmark's Human Experience platform (Employee, Contractor, Vendor, Customer, Patient, Constituent, Guest, etc.) - brings new ideas and thinking to client work and also to internal processes and operations.
Build relationships with our colleagues across channels and geographies to advance client interests and practice area objectives
Advise market leaders on workplace strategy trends.
Maintains and grows current client relationships
Proactively seek out new opportunities and prospects, identifies new business opportunities, and support broker business development
Writes workplace and change management proposals, with clear narrative, strong description of services and associated modelling of fees.
Lead and perform engagements: Human Experience Objectives, Cultural / Identity Studies, Life/Work Blend Analysis, Design Guidelines, Digital & data-driven Workplace Standards, Workplace Visualization, Building Scenarios, Departmental Alignment, Owner's Representation for Design/Build, Market Intelligence / Research, Utilization Studies, Highest/Best Use, Supply/Demand Analysis, Occupancy Modeling / Scenarios, Change Management Plans
Support and collaborate with global account and enterprise teams for national and global workplace analytics and strategy client requirements.
Monitor regional project budgets, personal / team utilization, profitability targets as well as oversee billing and fee management
Regularly participates in industry activities by way of speaking, presenting and/or writing to enhance the workplace platform's thought leadership
Promote the workplace platform via social media, and regular blog posts on Newmark Perspectives
Promotes and supports DEIB.
Adhere to all set company and client policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree - preferably in Architecture, Design, Social Science or Workplace Strategy
Minimum 5 years related experience
Knowledge and extensive work experience in the field of workplace strategy
A history of exploring broad, undefined problem areas
Ability to think strategically, implement change, enforce policy and resolve conflict.
Strong client relationship and account management experience
Proven ability to masterfully present, effectively sell and negotiate the services of Newmark
Visibility in the field, including industry memberships, publications, and conference speaking experience
Understanding and knowledge of any necessary regulations, in which work is being performed, to ensure compliance
