• Plans and Schedules available resources and materials for maintenance activities associated with preventative and corrective maintenance in the most effective way.
• Develop the detail work scope and setup forecasts for resource allocation to insure preventative and corrective work activities are completed in conjunction with manufacturing operations activities.
• Responsible for overseeing work order activity compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Operates computer-based inventory and Work Order systems, Links.
• Improve work force productivity and quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, tools, equipment, permits, and specialized documentation and equipment access.
• Compiles and maintains the master PM schedule to establish a sequence and lead time of each operation to meet scheduling dates according to production forecasts or machine specific needs.
• Ability to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Occasional exertions of 100 lbs.
• Maintains a clean and environmentally safe work area.
• Accurate coordination between the various maintenance groups and facility team leads/managers.
• Notifies Maintenance Manager or Team Leader if standard work cannot be followed.
• PPE- Must wear Safety Glasses, ear plugs, and area/job function appropriate gloves.
• Follows company policy and stays abreast of changes.
• Additional duties assigned.
SAFETY:
• Assist in creating and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Works with others to identify, eliminate, reduce, or control safety hazards.
• LOTO and other plant specific trainings to keep oneself safe must be done.
• Take steps to ensure that every job is safe and completed to the latest workplace safety regulations, laws, and requirements.
• Faulty work can cause an injury.
QUALITY:
• Check and recheck work to make sure all parts are up to par with standards and work as they should.
QUALIFICIATIONS
• High School Diploma or GED required. Preferred Associate degree.
• 5 years of experience in utilities-maintenance related fields.
• Ability to interact with Team Leads, production, and vendors using a positive collaborative approach.
• Strong knowledge of work management process, labor estimating, resource balancing, etc.
• Good working knowledge of facilities equipment and OEM requirements.
• Strong understanding of proper OSHA safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently complete assigned work while attending to multiple tasks and prioritizing projects to meet deadlines as directed.
• Working knowledge of safety standards of equipment.
• Entry level computer experience. (Links, CMMS, word, excel, etc.)
• Knowledge of purchase order system and requisition procedures.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills, allowing one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
• Completion of all in house training.
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently without supervision and meet tight deadlines.
• Work in a team environment.
