Salary Range: $38 to $42

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents and develop individualized care plans based on their dietary needs, preferences, and medical conditions.


• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and therapists, to ensure coordinated and effective care delivery.


• Monitor residents' nutritional status and make appropriate adjustments to their diet plans as needed.


• Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and their families, promoting healthy eating habits and lifestyle choices.


• Maintain accurate documentation of nutritional assessments, interventions, and outcomes in residents' medical records.


• Stay updated on current research and best practices in dietetics and apply this knowledge to enhance the quality of care provided.

• Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field from an accredited institution.


• Current registration as a Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).


• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Dietitian/Nutritionist.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse team members and interact with residents and their families.


• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care, with a commitment to promoting residents' overall health and well-being.


• Prior experience in a long-term care or clinical setting preferred, but not required.
