We're hiring immediately! Vitalant is currently seeking a full-time Volunteer Services Specialist to work as an integral part of our Volunteer Services Department. This teammate will oversee the day-to-day operations and administration of Volunteer Services within their assigned territory. They will partner with other departments to support their activities through recruitment and placement of volunteers. Key responsibilities will include serving as the main contact for volunteer inquiries, assignments and recruitment, matching volunteer skill sets with organizational needs; designing, implementing and coordinating volunteer orientation, along with training programs to ensure a safe and effective volunteer experience.

Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday, may include evenings and weekends as needed.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who has:

• High School/ GED equivalent required.


• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred


• Valid in-state driver's license required


• Two years of related experience in non-profit administration/management, sales, social work or resource management experience required
