Advertised Job Summary:

The Department of Retailing at the University of South Carolina invites applications for a full-time professional track faculty position at the Instructor level. The basis of the position is 9-months, and consists of the following responsibilities: teach courses in the Department of Retailing, provide mentoring and guidance to students in the major, collaborate with other college faculty and staff in support of the general mission of the unit, serve on department, college, or university committees as needed.

Required Education and Experience:

Earned master's degree (by the start date of employment) in Retailing, or alternatively in another closely related field [minimum of 18 graduate semester hours]. Primary teaching interests in one or more of the following areas: customer service, multi-national retailing, sales, buying, strategy; a demonstrated ability to deliver high quality classroom instruction.
