Advertised Job Summary:

The Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics' Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Certificate Program Coordinator will work closely with the Program Director and Deputy Director to implement the day-to-day activities of the graduate student MCH Certificate Program at the Arnold School of Public Health. In this role, the Program Coordinator will manage the MCH graduate certificate program; assist and coordinate administrative paperwork for the program; communicate and collaborate with Graduate Student Services and Graduate School personnel; develop and implement student recruitment and retention strategies; coordinate and conduct student enrollment activities; assist and coordinate in activities related to MCH curriculum; assist in program evaluation and reporting; schedule and participate in partnership meetings; and other tasks.



Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree and two years related experience or Master's degree in related field.



Preferred Qualifications:

Preferential qualifications include prior experience in recruiting and working with undergraduate and/or graduate students from under-represented backgrounds; Familiar with USC systems, Peoplesoft, Finance Intranet; and MCH-related training/experiences; etc.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Strong oral and written communication skills and organization skills are expected. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, database software, social media.
