Program Specialist 3 - FoundationSalary: $55,224 - $74,376**Classification: Program Specialist 3Reports to: Executive Director, OC FoundationOlympic College is seeking to hire a Full-Time Program Specialist 3 position in the OC Foundation., Positions at this level work under general direction and typically have organization-wide program responsibility. For programs with statewide impact, incumbents are specialists who manage one component or assist higher levels in two or more components of the program. Program components are comprised of specialized tasks (e.g., reservations, administration, and budget coordination) within a specialty program. Incumbents assist higher-level staff by coordinating all aspects of program services, providing technical assistance and specialized, consultation to program participants, staff, and outside entities, and recommending resolution for complex problems and issues related to the program. Incumbents assess program participants' needs develop specialized services and training unique to the program and are responsive to the needs of participants.Essential Functions


  • Working closely with the Olympic College Foundation Executive Director, responsible for providing board coordination and direct support to the Olympic College Foundation (OCF) Board/Committees

  • Support the creation of materials in preparation for OCF Board and Committee meetings.

  • Works with program participants, staff, representatives of outside organizations, and/or members of the public in defining needs and planning, designing, and developing specialized program activities.

  • Manage the integrity of OCF shared drive folders for continuity and historical stewardship of essential operations and program files.

  • Serve as point of contact for vendors (software, etc.), including analysis (research, review, and recommend) for new/upgraded office/operations platforms.

  • Assist with budget development and tracking for OCF operations, events, grants, contracts, or other funding requests relevant and specific to the position.

  • Receipt incoming monies and invoices, process and maintain revenue and expense records, including processed gift documentation in CRM.

  • Coordinate donors/prospects mailing lists for appeals, engagement activities, and fundraising events.

  • Coordinate donor/gift entry for gifts-in-kind with PIM.

  • Coordinate distribution of eNewsletters and/or other publications to support solicitation and stewardship.

  • Coordinate editorial calendar and manage posts for OCF social media accounts.

  • Serve as a representative of the Foundation for in-house, on-campus, community, and donor-related activities to promote the foundation and build a culture of philanthropy.

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications



    • High School Diploma or GED

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

    • 2 years experience in a fast-paced office environment


    Desired Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college.

    • 2 years of experience including planning, policy analysis, coordination, and consultation with a variety of public and private agencies, organizations, and/or levels of the government.

    Terms of Employment

    This is a full-time classified position scheduled to work 40 hours a week, with a salary range of $55,224 - $74,376 All classified positions will start their salary at Step A, when you have completed six months of probation, you will receive a 5 percent pay increase. A collective bargaining agreement exists, and this position is covered by the Washington Public Employees Associate (WPEA) Union.
