The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of South Carolina (
www.sc.edu/chemistry) is seeking exceptional candidates to join our collegial and multi-disciplinary program as a tenure-track faculty member at the level of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in the area of ANALYTICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL CHEMISTRY to begin August 16, 2025.Broad areas of expertise in analytical/environmental chemistry with experience in aquatic systems are welcome. While we are seeking to hire an Assistant Professor, candidates at all levels are welcome to apply. Candidates are expected to establish a vigorous, externally supported research program and have a strong commitment to teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
