The measurement coordinator reports to the TEAM-PA project manager. She
manages all measurement materials, ensures staff is trained, oversees data collection,
processes physical activity data, and provides data collection over the site at a community
programs.
Bachelor's degree minimum. One year of experience in community health promotion/education, data management, physical activity research, or measurement lead experience.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Social Work, Public Health, Exercise Science, or related field. Passion for health equity and working with community organizations. Experience with research related to health promotion, physical activity, and underrepresented minority groups. Experience with data analysis software, such as R or SPSS.
Ability to communicate, orally and in writing, with all constituents of the College of Nursing. Strong interpersonal skills sufficient to inspire, lead, and work effectively with diverse groups. Ability to effectively direct, manage, and lead professional and support staff. Excellent problem-solving skills with proven ability to strategize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet goals and deadlines. Understanding and support of the research mission of the College of Nursing. Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Ability to interpret and apply rules and regulations. Ability to manage work and provide guidance to employees. Ability to make presentations and prepare reports.

Responsible for overseeing daily operations of study measurement and data collection, including physical activity data collection (accelerometers, Fitbits), systematic observations, participant surveys, and anthropometrics; overseeing the measurement timeline, including collection of measures at baseline, post-intervention, and six-month post-intervention.
