Job Description Summary
The Head Climbing Wall Attendant will serve as a supervisor and scheduler for the climbing wall staff, enforce policies and procedures, complete administrative tasks for climbing wall, teambuilding, and special event programming, belay as needed, train new staff members, and report any maintenance or repair issues with the climbing wall

Responsibilities
Program Administration -
Schedule staff for open hours, teambuilding events, and special events
Ensure participation reports are filled out daily/weekly
Train new staff
Evaluate safety and customer service skills of climbing wall attendants
Belay during open hours and special events
Facility Operations -
Enforce climbing wall policies and procedures consistently for staff and patrons
Frequently monitor routes, settings, and equipment to ensure safety
Report risk management issues to supervisor
Communication -
Provide customer service to participants and create a relaxing and fun experience during their climb
Communicate with prospective pass holders regarding climbing wall hours, cost, benefits, etc.
Motivate climbing wall attendants to work special events and provide schedule availability
Provide weekly report to supervisor
Qualifications
Candidates for this position must have experience climbing and belaying. Candidates with their Climbing Wall Instructor Certification (CWI) are preferred. Candidates should be prepared to provide a resume and references upon request.
