CNC Horizontal Mills Machinist Position Summary:

Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking for a challenging opportunity to put your expertise to work on advanced machinery? Our team requires a Machinist who can handle complex projects using OKK, Doosan, and Enshu machines. Join us in producing high-quality, intricate parts made from aluminum, plastic, and steel, showcasing your precision and skill in a diverse range of projects.

CNC Horizontal Mills Machinist Responsibilities:

• Setup and Operation of CNC horizontal machining centers, specifically OKK, Doosan, and Enshu machines
• Perform MDI (Manual Data Input) programming for efficient part production.
• Conduct manual inspection using gauges and instruments to ensure part quality before submitting to the Quality Department for CMM inspection.,
• Understand GD&T and interpret complex 2-D drawings
• Monitor an inspect the part throughout the machining process
• Follow company quality and safety procedures
• Communicate and collaborates with team members to resolve technical issues
• Participate in lean manufacturing events to improve processes.

CNC Horizontal Mills Machinist Required Skills:

• Associate degree in a relevant field, or 3+ years of experience in milling, or 5 years of overall CNC machining experience.
• Familiarity with OKK, Doosan, and Enshu machines preferred.
• Experience working with various materials, such as aluminum, plastic, or steel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Experience with manual inspection using gauges and instruments in support of CMM inspection by the Quality Department
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
• Capable of handling sensitive and sometimes confidential information.
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork.
