Job Description:

ATI, a leading materials science company, is seeking high-performing individuals to join their team as Melters at their Monroe, NC facility. Melters play a critical role in the remelt process, operating various equipment including furnaces, welders, grinders, and heavy machinery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate furnaces, welders, grinders, and other equipment in the remelt process.
• Set up and turn around remelt furnaces efficiently, following established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and charts of remelt processes.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and assist with furnace changes as needed.
• Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts and cranes safely.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: At least one year of manufacturing experience.
• Skills: Basic computer and math skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
