Overview of this position:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Research Analyst to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth research on government initiatives, policies, budgeting, and other activities in the space, defense, and military sectors.

Responsibilities:
  • Track procurement activities, contract awards, and budget allocations within government agencies involved in space, defense, and military operations.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and briefings to communicate research findings and insights to internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Support business development efforts by providing research support for proposals, pitches, and client engagements.
  • Monitor and analyze trends, developments, and emerging technologies relevant to space exploration, defense capabilities, and military operations
  • Collect and analyze data on competitor activities, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks shaping the government space and defense industries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for GITAI's robotic solutions to address government needs and challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry news, events, and conferences to maintain a current understanding of the evolving landscape in government space and defense sectors.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as aerospace engineering, political science, international relations, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in conducting research and analysis within the government, aerospace, defense, or related industries.
  • Strong understanding of government processes, regulations, and procurement procedures related to space exploration, defense, and military operations.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, robotics, artificial intelligence, and their applications in space and defense sectors.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and synthesize complex data from multiple sources.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to convey technical information and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for innovation and advancing technology's role in government operations.
