Overview

IDG is currently seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Treasury Intern to join our team for a comprehensive, 10-week paid summer internship program. Under the guidance of experienced professionals, the Treasury Intern will have the opportunity to learn and help us move forward in the consolidation of our processes and systems from a Treasury perspective. You will also have the opportunity to build an understanding of automation tools in finance and gain exposure to corporate banking.

This role will be based in our Needham MA office with a hybrid schedule of working in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and ability to work from home on Monday and Friday.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily management of our global cash, which includes but not limited to cash reporting, wire processing, FX/investment confirmations and trade settlement.
• Provide analysis around our global bank accounts, fee structure, cash positions and debt instruments.
• Prepare and maintain our bank account / KYC documentation (bank signatories, open/close accounts).
• Participate in our summer intern project to analyze our current check process.
• Additional special projects as they arise.

Internship Project:

We want your assistance in better understanding our current check process, and to complete a cost-benefit analysis. Your work on this project can help determine a potential update to the process and how we move forward.

Qualifications

IDG is looking for an Undergraduate student pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. The ideal candidate is a team-player with the ability to prioritize, is detail-oriented, can work independently and has a thirst to learn. Strong written and verbal communication skills is required. A working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel would be beneficial.

The expected compensation, depending on education level, is between $22-$25/hour for undergrads and $30-35/hour for graduate students.
