Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the PR manager will be designing a comprehensive online and offline communications strategy for Roborock with the goal of building its brand and visibility in America. Your responsibilities will encompass building the brand identity, leading and executing public relations campaigns, media planning, and the integration of both marketing and communications.

In your role you must tackle the following challenges:
• Formulating and executing PR campaigns for the American market
• Adapting global strategies to the American market to support global marketing goals
• Aligning American communications strategies with global directions
• Active media relations as well as identification, distribution and control of topics that are important for relevant media
• Developing and executing American based product and brand-led initiatives
• Revising and adapting communication strategies in line with changing market trends
• Producing country specific content such as product leaflets, press releases, messaging documents, Q&A, event materials, interviews and other relevant communication documents
• Monitoring and responding to press coverage and social media interactions to ensure a consistent positive reputation in America
• Managing and working closely together with agencies on a country and regional level if needed
• Ability to think about and execute complex product and brand-topics and campaigns across different channels: from PR to media buy, social media and digital campaigns; and from local culture perspective, suggest and propose campaign idea or suitable marketing timing to regional team.
• Supporting event or tradeshow activities for product launches or other company / brand-related topics

The successful candidate must have the following:
• English speaker with good writing skill
• 4+ years of in-depth experience in communications and public relations
• Interest in technology, robotics, and smart home technologies
• Ability to understand complex technological topics in a fast-changing multicultural work environment and competitive industry
• Strong network within the editorial and technology press in America
• Proven project management experience
• Deep knowledge of marketing campaign processes
• Absolute team-player with intercultural competence and strong interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
• Independent individual, self-starter, able to self-motivate and work toward company goals without constant supervision and guidance
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Media, Marketing or related discipline preferred.
• Mandarin or other language abilities are a benefit
