Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented professional to fill a Project Manager position. In this role, you will participate in the engineering design and execution of one or more projects involving cryogenic food processing equipment. This position operates under regular supervisory review. You'll perform engineering calculations, investigations and assigned tasks for subsets of large projects or complete small projects. The core focus is carrying projects from sale through installation of cryogenic freezing technologies for the food industry.
Work with engineering and manufacturing to ensure equipment provided to customer meets their specifications - Coordinate overall project scope, based on input from responsible groups to ensure that equipment provided will meet ESA criteria.
Primary Responsibilities:
Interface with customer as the face of our client's throughout all phases of project implementation
Conduct Site surveys for equipment installation reviews
Develop appropriate exhaust system calculations and recommendations for equipment on project specific basis.
Develop appropriate piping system calculations and recommendations for equipment on project specific basis.
Compile project schedule based on information from responsible groups to ensure all parties are working to meet established start update.
May oversee contractor installations of piping, ductwork, insulation, etc.
Prepares appropriate documentation for assigned project phases and prepares required reports and summaries to communicate project progress or results
Demonstrates creativity and ingenuity in applying engineering principles and practices
Develops, selects, and implements engineering techniques and solutions to solve difficult problems
Participates in defining engineering approaches and in planning, prioritizing and scheduling work
Ensures successful completion of assigned project phases within the budgeted time and cost constraints
Prioritizes work and prepares engineering plans that accurately convey work sequence, priority and resource requirement
Reviews and checks project specific drawings and data sheets to ensure compliance with design criteria and standards and makes design recommendations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical Engineering required.
This position requires 40% - 60% travel.
Must have a basic understanding of electrical systems.
