Who You Are

You are a seasoned business professional with a strong background in Accounting and Finance. You have preferably worked at a DTC company helping to find financial trends, forecasting, and break-even points. You have a thorough understanding of GAAP and can perform basic bookkeeping as well as more complex journal entries within Quickbooks.

Job Description

In this role, you will work as our in-house Administrative Executive and Accountant, tackling a diverse range of tasks on a daily basis. This may include HR, budgeting, COGs analysis, office management and more. You will be an integral part of our team, contributing your expertise and dedication to helping us achieve our goals.

Responsibilities include:
  • Accounting Management: Utilize QuickBooks for accounting tasks and bookkeeping, including COGs tracking, inventory management, 1099 and tax preparation, and financial tracking
  • Financial Management: Handle AP/AR, monitor cash flow, and manage financial accounts for fraud prevention.
  • Financial Analyst: Analyze cash conversion cycles, determine breakeven points for Marketing, and provide inventory forecasting
  • Administrative Support: Schedule meetings, take minutes, and provide summaries, manage payroll, benefits enrollment, shipping, and provide assistance to the CEO and Head of Operations.
  • Office Management: Maintain a welcoming environment, prepare the office for meetings, coordinate cleaning schedules, and manage office supplies.

Results-Driven Experience

Our ideal candidate will have experience that matches our company's needs. For this role, we are really looking for someone who can describe results they provided for previous employers that includes:
  • Determining break-even points so Marketing knew how much they could spend on CAC/CPA and still be profitable
  • Monitoring cash conversion cycles so the company could properly determine larger purchases or debt raises
  • Being the sole person responsible for filing sales taxes in all states
  • Full cycle accounting responsibilities for a $10MM+ company
  • Managing payroll and benefits for a small team of employees
