Basic Job Functions:
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for performing all aspects of accounts payable that includes the timely and accurate processing of invoices, check processing andreporting.Additionally, this position will communicate with vendors to resolve account discrepancies and research issues, assist with month-end closing duties, such as preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts and provide day-to-day support to all departments. This is a comprehensive list of duties, although may not include everything required on a daily basis. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
