Our client in Inwood is looking for an Order Processing Specialist to join their team working in the commercial ordering and distribution space.
Salary/Hourly Rate $25 - $28/hr DOE
Position Overview The Order Processing Specialist is responsible for the beginning of the order fulfillment process. This role focuses on accurately entering and maintaining detailed distributor and customer purchase orders (PO) and signed sales quotes. This Order Processing Specialist role requires attention to detail and heavy data entry.
Responsibilities Of The Order Processing Specialist
Oversee a communal mailbox to supervise incoming orders, modifications, and trail waiting requests, and acknowledge customer purchase orders (PO) receipt via email
Input comprehensive sales orders into Epicor involving accurate PNCs, cost, deals, uncommon sales programs, location details, territory, order designation, order volume, etc.
Confirm precise PO input by engaging with clients about incomplete details or inconsistencies
Add supplementary equipment to the sales order based on details from Customer Care
Offer sales order verification from the Epicor system
Link all pertinent documents to the sales order, and employ notes and commentary sections for additional communication with anyone checking the sales order
Engage in cross-training in Parts to aid order processing or take care of incoming calls when necessary
Perform daily scrutiny of orders put on hold by the user
Generate new client accounts for order input into Epicor
Add and manage the Epicor customer ID within Avalara (tax-exemption document storage)
Interact with the Engineering team to produce new PNCs
Confirm costs and deals using an up-to-date price catalog and deal documentation
Ensure open and fast communication during the order process to all individuals involved
Meet all Order Desk service agreements
Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the management
Qualifications For The Order Processing Specialist
Ideally 2 to 4 years of experience of detailed order input in a support role for sales, preferable with manufacturing experience
Proficient in using MS Office suite
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and change priorities as necessary
Possess high energy, self-motivation, and a drive to achieve WORLD CLASS SERVICE
Strong business intellect, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a time-bound approach to complete tasks accurately
Excellent oral and written communication skills with active listening ability
Take ownership and pride in building and maintaining robust business relationships, providing exceptional customer service to distributors, end-users, and coworkers

Preferably college-educated and bilingual
