Responsibilities:
Prepare financial statements, analyzing accounts and information to provide management with accurate financial insights.
Maintain and balance an automated consolidation system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and implement accounting procedures, recommending changes for improved efficiency.
Analyze data and options, creating spreadsheet reports to support decision-making processes.
Assist in annual audit preparations, including the creation of various schedules.
Reconcile miscellaneous general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
Register and prepare annual reports for states where the company conducts business.
Requirements:
Possess 5+ years of general accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA or Master's degree preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
Experience with NetSuite is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and coordinate department functions effectively.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to the company's mission and values.
Ability to problem-solve collaboratively with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
