A professional services firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced Tax professional to join their growing team as their new International Tax Senior.
Responsibilities:
The International Tax Senior will :
Prepare international tax forms and informational returns, including Forms 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8621, and 1042, 3520 and corresponding workpapers
Research for international tax technical issues
Build and manage client relationships
Manage compliance projects and engagement budgets
Retain, develop, and guide junior client service team members by providing effective performance feedback, clear delegation and supervision, and ensuring team responsibilities are consistent with skills and developmental goals
Coordinate outsourced workstreams
Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
Proactively build relationships with the client personnel projects; communicate effectively with the tax team to provide superior client service
Qualifications:
2+ years of related Tax experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Experience in a Public Accounting environment
Solid understanding of fundamental International Tax concepts & terms
Computer savvy
Microsoft Excel proficient
Solid analytical, mathematical, and research skills
