Job Description:

Renewable Solar Inc is a rapidly growing Solar PV Engineering, Construction and Procurement (ECP) company, currently managing a portfolio of over 200 ongoing PV solar projects valued in excess of $200M with a staff of roughly 100 personnel. Renewable Solar is seeking Project Coordinators to support this growing workload.

Position Overview:

The Project Coordinator owns the effective information flow between field, office, customers, and vendors/subcontractors, is proficient in and provides leadership to the team regarding company process for contracts and project accounting, and coordinates project activities from start-up to close-out. Project Coordinators do this by leveraging their solar PV backgrounds, expertise on permitting, interconnection, and outage coordination.

Requirements of the Position: Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience within the commercial solar industry. They must be familiar with general life cycle requirements of a PV project, from contract signing to final commissioning. Utility Interconnection application experience is REQUIRED for this position.

** Ideal candidate; candidate has 2+ years of project coordination experience in solar with background dealing with utility interconnection applications (PG&E or SCE preferred) **

Supervisory Controls: Project Coordinators will report under the Project Management Office at RSI. Project Coordinators are expected to work 40-45 hours/week, with core hours being Monday-Friday 8AM-4PM, and available to support non-standard overtime hours as necessary.

Evaluation Factors: Project Coordinators will be evaluated based on project driven metrics, and their ability to successfully keep projects moving forward and maintain good communication both internal and external to the organization.

Pay Scale: Project Coordinators compensation is negotiable, and may be either hourly or salary, with a combination of project-based incentives. Compensation will be at market rates, based on qualifications, currently estimated between $20-$32/hour or $55k-$80k/year + incentives, to include 5% 401k match and employer sponsored health care options.
