Oversight of Grants financial management including: budget reviews for application, monthly rolling forecasting, and compliance with Federal and other sponsor regulations and rules.
Assist with overseeing Grants' regulatory compliance.
Assist with ensuring the accuracy of the general ledger entries and financial reporting responsibilities.
Key role with preparing for and completing the annual audits, including:
Financial Statements audits, 403(b) Retirement plan audits and workers' Compensation audits
Annual budget process.
Assist with Semi-monthly payroll processing.
Assist with financial systems upgrades/implementations.
Mentor, lead, and train department staff
Qualifications:
BS degree in accounting or related field is required. CPA or Master's degree preferred.
At least 5 years of accounting experience is required.
