Ensure that Sponsor/CRO is providing payment per the terms in the clinical trial agreements
Generate accurate and timely invoices for sponsors based on contractual agreements
Utilize systems and data to track achievement of clinical trial activities (visits, procedures, invoiceables items, etc)
Perform reconciliations of contractual activities against payments received to date to confirm outstanding balances
Track Sponsor and CRO transactions, compare Sponsor/CRO budget against invoices created in the system and reconcile Sponsor/CRO trackers against AR aging reports
Communicate with Sponsors and CROs to follow up on overdue payments, resolve billing disputes, and provide payment reminders
Review and analyze billing discrepancies, resolve issues, and implement preventive measures for future occurrences
Assist in the development and improvement of billing processes and systems to streamline operations
Identify and escalate potential collection issues to management, recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risk
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of collections activities, customer interactions, and payment statuses
IF YOU HAVE:
2 years working in collections for pharmaceuticals
Firm understanding of clinical trial agreements and budgets
Basic understanding of clinical trial protocols (eligibility criteria, study design, investigational products, SOPs, etc)
Experience with clinical trial tracking and invoicing systems (Excel, CRIO, Quickbooks, etc)
Bachelors degree
