Kilgore companies is looking for a wash bay attendant in our shops to operate wash bay equipment such as machinery, hand brushes, etc. to clean exterior of trucks and clean inside and outside of trailers as well as steaming engines and under carriages.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving and parking trucks, yard dogs, and trailers on the yard.
Operates and maintains wash bay machinery and supporting equipment.
Using and replenishing commercial grade chemicals.
Maintains inventory.
Fumigates interior of trailers.
Removal of garbage and debris.
Jump start trucks as needed.
Operates a forklift.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follows all OSHA regulations and safety requirements for a safe work environment.
Assists mechanics with basic repairs
Performs related work assigned by supervisor as required.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following skills and abilities:
Knowledge Vehicle cleaning or housekeeping experience is a plus.
Experience, Education, and Training High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Requirements This position requires constant forward reaching, grasping and finger manipulation; also requires frequent sitting, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, and hand control. Candidate must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs and push and pull up to 15lbs. Applicants must be confident with working off of ladders.
Working Environment Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.
Licensing/Certification Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
