Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities

Provide electrical engineering support for all electrical maintenance equipment and repairs at the power plant facilities to maximize reliable power generation and revenue from the region.

Typical Duties

Provide electrical engineering support for all electrical maintenance equipment and repairs at the power plant facilities to maximize reliable power generation and revenue from the region.

Provide energy regulatory compliance support to maximize reliability of the power plant facilities.

Generates and updates procedures, policies, and electrical maintenance programs to comply with standards set by government energy regulating agencies.

Maintain close contact with planners and operations personnel to evaluate plant equipment performance and recommend cost-effective repairs.

Reviews process and equipment design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and contract requirements and specifications.

Plans and formulates electrical maintenance activities and organizes staff according to project requirements to meet or exceed deadlines.

Identify and incorporate new ideas and technologies for repairs, replacement where economically feasible.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.

2 years of experience as an Electrical Project Engineer, Operation Supervisor, Electrical Engineer, or similar duties under a different job title.

2 years of electrical engineering work to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of systems and equipment within a hydropower or geothermal power plant.

2 years of initiating plans, policies, and procedures for improving work efficiency, safety practices, and training development of employees.

2 years performing root cause analysis.

Hiring Range: $100,700 - $188,400/year
