Job Description:

The newly renovated Embassy Suites San Francisco Airport is hiring its next Director of Food & Beverage! In this role, you will oversee the hotel's full-service restaurant, complimentary breakfast and evening reception, room service, and banquets. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with at least three years of Food & Beverage and/or Restaurant Management experience who are ready for the next step in their career.

What will I be doing?

A Director of Food & Beverage and organizes the activities of the Food & Beverage department to maintain the hotel's high standards of food and beverage quality and service, maximizing profits and guest satisfaction.

• Plans and directs the functions of administration and planning of the Food & Beverage department to meet the daily needs of the operation.
• Implements effective controls of food, beverage and labor costs.
• Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards.
• Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and ensure outstanding customer service.
• Interviews, trains, supervises, counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role in a restaurant or hotel environment
• Proven ability to effectively motivate, lead, and develop a team
• Open availability to work varying days/shifts as business requires
• Ability to meet financial metrics around revenue, labor/cost controls, and waivers
• Strong budgeting and forecasting experience preferred

Compensation

The salary range for this position is between $100,000 - 126,000 annually and is based on applicable location and experience.
