Position Summary

  • This role, supporting the Beer Division’s Supply Chain, will partner with the Transportation teams (Outbound Freight) to provide financial insight into business performance and to support the decision-making process for strategic initiatives. Specific areas of contribution include monthly management reporting and forecasting, annual budgeting, long-range strategic planning, cost-savings initiatives, and ad-hoc project support as needed.

Responsibilities


  • Lead development of the monthly forecast, annual budget, and long-range plan for Transportation – partnering with cross-functional business partners to ensure financial estimates and targets appropriately reflect strategic initiatives and market conditions.

  • Support month-end close activities, including consolidation and processing of monthly and quarterly journal entries, correction of account coding errors, and resolution of system issues.

  • Lead creation, production, and distribution of stakeholder management reporting and presentations; reviewing results with business partners to provide variance analysis vs. annual plan and to proactively define potential risks.

  • Oversee, quantify, and report on all cost-savings initiatives assigned to the Transportation business, working cross-functionally with project leads and stakeholders.

  • Provide financial analysis and decision support for strategic planning objectives

  • Partner with Transportation teams to conduct contract negotiations, including annual RFP Trucking initiative for all NOB and SOB lanes.

  • Support innovation process by partnering with Marketing and Innovation Finance teams to provide requested inputs (Logistics COGS) for stage gate process.

  • Support cost management process by assisting in ideation and assessment of new projects.

  • Lead migration of newly implemented SAP system from minimum viable product to best-inclass solution for all Transportation expenses.

  • Utilize data reporting tools, such as advanced Excel functions and Power BI, to analyze large sets of data and automate/streamline reporting.

  • Guide and support all Analysts and Interns on team.

  • Support various ad-hoc requests from the Finance Leadership team

Reporting Relationship

  • This position will report directly to the Finance Manager, Logistics

Qualifications Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business (Finance/Accounting), Economics, or STEM.

  • Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience in Finance, Accounting, or Consulting required.

  • Previous exposure to Supply Chain and CPG industry preferred

Technical Proficiency


  • Advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Pivot, Power BI, Xlookup, etc.).

  • System Adaptability.

  • SAP S4 HANA & BPC experience required

  • Strong financial acumen and demonstrated analytical/problem solving ability Highly motivated, change-oriented, and demonstrated ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities.

  • Continuous improvement mindset – ability to recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies.

  • Comfortable operating autonomously with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications


  • Bilingual English/Spanish

  • CPG firm experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Work Environment


  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.

  • Sitting, working at desk/personal computer for extended periods of time.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally

The salary range for this role is:

$78,800.00 - $118,200.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
